Scott is a highly motivated individual dedicated to seeing students succeed through instruction that is built on sincere and trusting relationships.
Scott’s extensive post-secondary education career has included teaching traditional and non-traditional learners while continually implementing contemporary education research into his instruction methods. As an educator he has a record of increasing student performance beyond the normal gains and believes that learning needs to be accessible to all students. Scott’s past students report that he cultivates learning environments where excellence is the standard and each individual’s contribution is respected. His background also includes studying abroad, participating in a six month community development and youth outreach mission in Italy to assist people of lower socioeconomic status (he speaks fluent Italian) and coaching high school varsity soccer.
Scott holds his Master of Arts in Teaching from Oregon State University and has a full grasp on how to navigate Central Oregon Community College where he obtained his associates degree.
