Barb Cass, Parent Coach
Barb has more than 30 years of experience working with young adults, parents and families. Throughout her career, she helped young adults and their families overcome difficult challenges. She held positions as a program director, teacher, director of counseling, as well as a life and parent coach for at-risk youth. She was instrumental in developing a series of programs for underachieving students and helped found one of the first private boarding schools that integrated college prep academics with character building curriculum. Barb has been with College Excel for 8 years.
Her love for horses and equine therapy has led to one of our most popular service projects with Equine Outreach, which rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected horses.
Barb is a Certified Parent Coach (CPC), Certified Manager/Leader Coach (CLMC) and Certified Neuro Linguistics Coach (CNLP). She has a bachelor's degree in social work.
